The 2017 Joint Base Andrews Air Show is JBA's opportunity to say "thank you" to our community, the state and the National Capital Region for all their incredible support.

Guests will experience aerial demonstrations and learn more about the military personnel and equipment JBA uses to carry out the missions here.

Among other commemorations, this year's Joint Base Andrews Air Show will celebrate the Air Force's 70th Birthday.

The 2017 Joint Base Andrews Airshow is free and open to the public. 

Air Show Rehearsal (Open to DoD cardholders ONLY)
September 15, 2017

Gates open: 9 a.m.
Opening ceremony: 10 a.m.
Demonstrations: 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Parking: East Flightline.


2017 Joint Base Andrews Air Show
September 16-17, 2017

Gates open: 9 a.m.
Opening Ceremonies:  11:30 a.m.
Demonstrations: 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Parking: FedEx Field and Branch Avenue Metro Station.
Shuttle: Shuttles to the show run from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The shuttles returning attendees back to their vehicles will run until after the final performance.

F-35 Lightening II

The F-35A, the U.S. Air Force's latest fifth-generation fighter, will be on display at the 2015 Joint Base Andrews Air Show!

The aircraft will replace the U.S. Air Force's aging fleet of F-16 Fighting Falcons and A-10 Thunderbolt II's, which have been the primary fighter aircraft for more than 20 years, and bring with it an enhanced capability to survive in the advanced threat environment in which it was designed to operate.

With its aerodynamic performance and advanced integrated avionics, the F-35A will provide next-generation stealth, enhanced situational awareness, and reduced vulnerability for the United States and allied nations.

Songs for Sound Hearoes Tour is touring the U.S. at many air shows  to ensure military, veterans and their families all have good information on healthy hearing and a lifetime to hear the music. The 2015 Joint Base Andrews Air Show will feature a performance by Laura Bell Bundy, hit entertainer in TV, country music and Broadway.

"LBB" will perform a 60 minute electric performance with a full band & back up dancers in HANGAR 3 at 12:30 pm on Saturday.

Songs for Sound is offering free hearing protection at the Hearos Bus all weekend for attendees.
Laura Bell Bundy

Having grown up in Kentucky LBB debuted at age 9 in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Since then, she has originated the roles of "Tina Denmark" in Ruthless The Musical, "Amber Von Tussle" in Hairspray, "Elle Woods" in Legally Blonde, and took a turn as "Glinda" in Wicked. She has earned numerous nominations for her performances, including a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical, an Outer Critics Circle nomination, and Drama Desk nominations.

In addition to performing on Broadway, Laura Bell has also been spotted in front of the camera, appearing on network television shows such as Cold Case, Veronica Mars, Home Improvement, Malibu Country, "Becky" on How I Met Your Mother, a recurring role as "Shelby" on Hart of Dixie, and her lead role as Dr. Jordan Denby on Anger Management. She also played the disgruntled teen "Marah Lewis" on Guiding Light. Taking television to the big screen, Laura Bell's film work includes Dream Girls, Jumanji, Life with Mikey, The Adventures of Huck Finn, CMT's first original movie To The Mat, Watercolor Postcards and Hallmark's Dear Dumb Diary.

Recording Career:
- Universal Mercury recording artist from 2007 to 2013
- She signed with Big Machine Records in 2013
- Debut album "Achin & Shakin" peaked at #5 on Country Music Billboard Chart
- Her album "Another Piece of Me" released in June 2015
