Medical Clinic at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling announces holiday closures

The 579th Medical Group (579 MDG) is located at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. They are staffed with providers and affiliate providers from the Navy, Army and Air Force. The 579 MDG also augments 3 Pentagon clinics and Fort Meade.

The Medical Clinic at Anacostia- Bolling will be closed on the following dates:Dec. 25-26; Dec. 31- Jan. 1. There will be no appointments on these days. The Emergent Care Center at Joint Base Andrews will remain open. The pharmacy will be closed.

JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, Washington, D.C., The Medical Clinic at Joint Base Anacostia- Bolling will be closed on the following dates:

Dec. 25 - Christmas Holiday
Dec. 26 - Family Day
Dec. 31 - Family Day
Jan. 1 - New Year's Holiday

There will be no appointments on these days. The Emergent Care Center at Joint Base Andrews will remain open. The pharmacy will be closed.

Prescription refills called in before noon Dec. 24 will be available for pickup after noon Dec. 27. All other refills requested after Dec. 24 will be available for pickup after noon Dec. 30. Prescription refills called in before noon Dec. 30 will be available for pickup after noon Jan. 3. All other refills requested after Dec. 31 will be available for pickup after noon Jan. 6. Please call the JBAB Clinic Pharmacy at (202) 404-7742 if your medication needs additional attention during this time.

If an urgent need arises, patients are welcome to use the Emergent Care Center; if not an emergency and the condition can wait, the JBAB Clinic will reopen for full services Dec. 27, Dec. 30 and Jan. 2.
