Alpha Warrior ‘Battle Rig’ comes to JBA

By Airman Michael S. Murphy 11th Wing Public Affairs

Alpha Warrior professionals took a tour of Joint Base Andrews before demonstrating the Alpha Warrior Battle Rig obstacle course to JBA Airmen during a meet and greet tour. The demo allowed Airmen to get used to the new workout equipment that will be coming to JBA in the fall. The Alpha Warrior program is an Air Force-wide initiative to incorporate a functional fitness approach for Airmen to tackle the four pillars of Comprehensive Airmen Fitness: physical, mental, social and spiritual.
