Pool opening, Asian-Pacific Heritage festival
Airmen line up to try a variety of foods during the Asian-Pacific heritage month festival at the Gateway Pool May 22. Food for 400 was prepared by Andrews members of Asian-Pacific Islander decent and served to guests. Dishes served included Hawaiian roasted pig; Chinese orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and lumpia; Thai beef ginger perfect and mango sticky rice; Asian sweet doughnuts; and Filipino chicken adobo.
