Airmen aid Native American tribe
Team Andrews Airmen scrape off 30-year-old paint and prime the exterior walls of Wesley Chapel as part of a volunteer effort to restore the church for the Nause-Waiwash Band of Indians in Dorchester County, Md., Nov. 19, 2009. The community service project was part of Joint Base Andrews’ Native American Heritage Month observance. The chapel was built in 1855 and belongs to the Nause-Waiwash Band of Indians, descendants of the Nanticoke Indian tribe. (U.S. Air Force photo by Alexy Saltekoff)
