Joint Base Andrews Fisher House

The Joint Base Andrews Fisher House provides home like accommodations to family members while active duty, retirees and veterans are undergoing care at a military medical treatment facility or outplaced to a local community hospital. The criterion for occupancy is that the guest be either a member of the family or designated care giver of the patient hospitalized or a military affiliated patient in an outpatient status.

Opened in 1994, the 5,000 square foot, 2-story Joint Base Andrews Fisher House was donated to the Air Force by the Fisher House Foundation, named after the late Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher.  The Houses are designed to assist in keeping families together while undergoing medical treatment.
