  • The Pearl Harbor (Commercial Vehicle Search Gate), located on the East Side of base, will have modified holiday hours (9am to 3pm) on Friday, 17 January, for the AFDW Family Day, and Monday, 20 January, for the Martin Luther King Federal Holiday

 

  • Beginning Jan. 7, at 6 a.m., all DoD ID card holders who wish to escort/sponsor a non-DoD ID card holder will be required to visit the Visitor Control Center to acquire a visitor's pass. All non-DoD ID card holders will be required to present a government-issued form of identification and will be vetted through a criminal background check before being issued a visitor’s pass to access the installation. In conjunction with this requirement, the VCC will begin 24/7 operations. Please help maximize efficient flow of traffic by visiting the VCC BEFORE approaching the gate. For further questions, contact the VCC at 301-981-0689. Thank you!

**The Joint Base Andrews Firing Range, located at building 2495, is off limits to all unauthorized personnel. Personnel requiring access must contact Combat Arms at 301-981-9755. All personnel are reminded of the dangers of gunfire. Trespassing is not only illegal, but inherently dangerous due to gunfire.**

Dec. 19, 2019 - Air Force District of Washington hosted a Washington Nationals World Series trophy display event at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Dec. 17, 2019. The event featuring Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman was organized to boost the relationship between the team and military members. Zimmerman and the trophy traveled to the 1st Helicopter Squadron and the 113th Wing, District of Columbia Air National Guard, for a meet and greet. Airmen and civilians were invited to take pictures of the trophy and receive autographs from Zimmerman.
