Dec. 4, 2020 - Col. Tyler Schaff, JBA and 316th Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Ezekiel Ross, command chief, have a holiday message for the Joint Base Andrews community:

316th Operations Group hosts immersion tour for CMSAF Bass

Nov. 24, 2020 - The 316th Operations Group hosted an immersion tour for Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force JoAnne Bass, at the 1st Helicopter Squadron, Nov. 23, 2020. The tour included briefs about the organizations, missions, and responsibilities of the 1st Helicopter Squadron, 316th Operations Support Squadron, and the 316th OG.

JBA hosts multiagency forensic training
Senior Airman Zion Coleman, 316th Security Forces Base Defense Operations Center controller, receives a call initiating the start of a training for Security Forces, the Office of Special Investigations, and Judge Advocates at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Oct. 30, 2020. BDOC is responsible for dispatching patrolmen when calls come in.
Nov. 20, 2020 - The 2nd Field Investigative Squadron, 7th Field Investigative Squadron, 316th Wing Security Forces Group and Judge Advocates from the 316th Wing Legal Office participated in a two-day multiagency forensic and witness testimony training at Joint Base Andrews on Oct. 30 and Nov. 6, 2020.

Nov. 20, 2020 - A WORD FROM THE CC | Hello Griffins and valued mission partners! As the holiday season approaches I am excited, not only for myself, but for our entire community to be able to spend valuable time with family, friends and loved ones. I hope each Joint Base Andrews member takes the time to reflect and be thankful for what is most important to them.

SparkX Cell open house showcases cutting-edge technology
The SparkX Cell Innovation and Idea Center at Joint Base Andrews, Md., works with Tesseract, an Air Force maintenance-run program, to develop life-like 3-D models such as this vertebrae part to help medical students in the Air Force train for procedures and understand the human body. The SparkX Cell Center’s Phase Two Open House on Nov. 13, 2020, was intended to showcase the newly added equipment and their capabilities, build networks with different teams and businesses across the National Capital Region, and promote a growth mindset. 316th Wing Public Affairs does not act as an operator service and does not have the capability to redirect incoming calls to other offices.

Studio Photography: During COVID-19, we provide limited support for official Visa/Passports and ISOPrep and Special Duty Assignment packages only every Wednesday. The PA studio is located in the William A. Jones III Building 1500 West Perimeter Road, Suite 2330, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762.

Please bring your own colored collared shirts. NO WHITE COLLARED SHIRTS! If you are getting both Visa and Passport photos, you will need two different colored shirts. Walk-in hours: Wednesday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. No appointments available.
