Why do you serve?
I wanted to pursue something that was extraordinary to me and become a part of something I would be proud of, with the goal of growing both as a person as well as making an overall difference in the world.
How does your job impact the wing’s mission?
My duty impacts the mission significantly. Being a part of the Pentagon Flight Medicine Annex, we not only support all the squadrons on base, but also all units/personnel that have direct/indirect contact with presidential support duties including the White House, Air Force One, Pentagon Flight Medicine and top national leaders. Similarly, we perform all medical reviews for presidential level clearances. We also monitor special duty members to ensure they are fit and ready at all times to complete their mission.
What is your dream assignement and why?
I want to commission and become a flight surgeon. I've grown fond of what special operations entails yet my goal has been to become a physician, so it seems like the perfect blend of the two.
