JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md., June 11, 2019 —
Joint Base Andrews, Md. is undergoing several construction projects that may impact visitors to certain areas of the base.
Currently, construction teams are upgrading the Passenger Terminal parking lot between July 1 to 11, 2019. Afterwards, the construction will move to the eastside fitness facility.
The construction at the PAX terminal includes improvements to sidewalks, handicap ramps, curbs and gutters.
Members on base should prepare to take detours as they navigate near these locations, and expect decreased parking spots available.
