11 SFS, PG County police train for hostage situations

The 11th Security Forces Squadron emergency services team and Prince George’s County Police Department specialized operations division members participated in a simulated hostage training exercise here, Nov. 7, 2018. The training gave both units a chance to better understand how each handles crisis response situations. During the scenarios, the 11th SFS and PG County police worked together to negotiate hostage releases, apprehend gunmen and rescue hostages.
