The C-26 Metroliner is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft used by the U.S. Navy for several mission sets including light passenger/cargo airlift, range support, and training at the U.S. Navy Test Pilot School, Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland. The C-26 Metroliner is a military variant of the civilian Fairchild SA227-AC Metro III and capable of carrying up to 19 passengers with a range of 1,800 nautical miles.
