Rachel Seagraves, School Age Program assistant, observes as Taylor Rice, daughter of 1st Lt. Troy Rice, Air National Guard, shows First Lady Laura Bush the developmental tools used at the Youth Center for education and fun. Mrs. Bush made an official visit to Andrews on Dec. 5, to tour the Youth Center and to hold a panel on helping America's military youth. The panel consisted of Mrs. Bush, the Boys and Girls Club of America, the Military Child Education Coalition as well as several military members and their children. She also autographed and donated several books to the youth center for children to read, including Tuck Everlasting, by Natalie Babbit, Esperanza Rising, by Pam Munoz Ryan, and A Wrinkle In Time, by Madelin L'Engle.
