Maj. Gen. Del Eulberg pins a Purple Heart medal on Maj. Jose L. Rivera-Hernandez during ceremonies held in his honor at the 316th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordinance Disposal Detachment Aug. 16. Maj. Rivera was wounded while on convoy duty in Iraq, after his armored HUMVEE hit by an improvised explosive device July 5.
