Legacy fuels the future at Andrews air show

— U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force honor guard members marched in close formation, bearing the U.S. and service flags with measured steps as they presented the colors — a solemn tradition that signaled respect and set the stage for the National Anthem. As the honor guard posted, faces turned upward as white trails curled across the sky above Joint Base Andrews, marking the path of a small aerobatic aircraft. Slow is smooth, smooth is safe

— Several speed limit signs on Joint Base Andrews were replaced to improve driving safety across the base in support of the wing’s reduced-speed campaign, Sept. 12, 2025. Driving speeds have been reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph in these areas. Distracted driving and speeding on base have been targeted in this campaign to promote safe driving.
