By 11th Wing Public Affairs 11th Wing Public Affairs

The Freedom Hall dining facility is scheduled for temporary relocation due to renovations beginning April 24.

During the closure, Freedom Hall will operate in trailers located in the parking lot, along Brookley Avenue, of the existing building.

Renovations planned for the interior include restoring the “Grab-N-Go” area, replacing refrigerators, and installing a new fire suppression system.  The exterior of the building is also set to receive new roofing and doors, as well as window resealing.

The project is scheduled to be completed September 2017.
