11th Dental Squadron visits JP Hoyer CDC

Memebers of the 11th Dental Squadron visited the JP Hoyer Child Development Center to teach the importance of proper oral hygiene during National Children's Dental Health Month. 

Dental technicians visited each classroom in groups of threes. One dressed as a tooth, another carrying a handmade interactive display, and the last acted as a puppeteer. They also conducted a toothbrush exchange on base for the children.

"My son loved his new toothbrush," said Diana Sledd, parent and education technician at the JP Hoyer CDC. "He came home with it on a Friday and all he did that weekend was brush his teeth."
