Why do you serve?

I wanted to carry-on my family tradition of military service, while also being able to travel the world and get an education. 

 

How does your job impact the wing’s mission?

My postion as a member of the command support staff for the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard plays an important role in maintaning compliance with the commander's programs. I also understand that doing my job effectively allows members of the honor guard to focus on doing their job at a high level, day in, day out. 


Coolest thing you've done in the military?

This is my first duty station since I joined the Air Force in July 2016. The coolest thing I've been able to do so far while being in the National Capital Region is seeing the historical monuments and having the opportunity to visit the White House. I was also able to interact with pilots form the Air Force Thunderbirds duirng last year's Joint Base Andrews Air Show.
