JBA to host 5th annual Fall Festival celebration

By Airman 1st Class Alyssa Van Hook 11th WG/PA

The Joint Base Andrews Chaplain Corps is scheduled to host its annual Fall Festival from 4:30 p.m.-8 p.m. on Oct. 31 at Chapel One here.

Since 2013, the Fall Festival has offered base personnel an opportunity to enjoy themselves in a family-friendly environment, away from official duties.

“We are expecting about a thousand people and we are really excited,” said Capt. Michael L. Farar, an 11th Wing chaplain. He said he expects it will be the biggest Fall Festival yet.

Engaging activities and a free all-you-can-eat dinner will be provided by the Chaplain Corps.

In addition to live music, a car show, hayrides and more, there will be a kids' costume contest and Trunk or Treat.

Multiple squadrons will compete to see who has the best car trunk decorations. The grand prize will be a squadron party arranged by the chaplains.

Chapel One is located across from the Jones building on Arkansas Road.

Registration for the Trunk or Treat Cars Contest can be found at: //www.signupgenius.com/go/6obo84cacaf22aof85-fall
