By Staff Report 11th Wing Public Affairs

The Air Force Wounded Warrior Program held its Northeast Warrior CARE event here from Nov. 12-16, 2018. Warriors challenged themselves and each other in competitive sports and classes during the event. CARE events provide service to seriously wounded, ill and injured Airmen as well as veterans and their caregivers through caregiver support training, adaptive and rehabilitative sports events, recovering Airman mentorship training, and employment and career readiness classes.
