Hometown?

Trenton, New Jersey

Why do you serve?

joined the military after a year and a half of college to try something different. I enlisted with a group of friends through the buddy system and thought it would be an awesome experience. I also wanted to follow in the footsteps of my grandfather who served four years in the Air Force.

How does your job impact the wing’s mission?

As the oral surgery section chief, my job impacts the 11th Wing’s mission by leading four dentists and 14 technicians who ensure members meet medical and dental readiness standards. As a team, we provide quality dental care helping prevent dental emergencies which allows members to focus on accomplishing the mission.

What's been your favorite assignement/TDY and why?

Of the four bases I’ve been assigned to, my favorite was Kunsan Air Base in South Korea. I made some lifelong friends and was given an awesome opportunity to work in key duty positions. It helped me advance my career as a new NCO through the different challenges I experienced. I also never imagined I would have the opportunity to live in an overseas location like South Korea. The food there was amazing!
