Hometown?

Harlingen, Texas

Why do you serve?

Coming from a small town with few opportunities, I wanted a chance to make something of my life and be a part of an organization that protects our country. I felt the need to be a part of something bigger than myself and I believe in what the Air Force stands for.

How does your job impact the wing’s mission?

As a dental technician, I believe we play a critical part in mission readiness. We ensure our military members are ready to go at a moment’s notice. Also, we serve in various medical roles when needed. No job is too small not to make a difference. We are all one team.

What's been your favorite assignment/TDY and why?

My favorite assignment so far has been here at JBA. We have a unique wing that serves more than just one base. The mission here is unbelievable and I was given the opportunity to step out and work in the commander's action group. It's taught me another side of the Air Force and how it operates. The knowledge I've gained working in the CAG is priceless and something I'm very grateful for.
