Virginia Beach, Virginia

Why do you serve?

The military trains the best pilots in the world, and I thought it was the best place for me because I wanted to fly .

How does your job impact the wing’s mission?

The wing has an increbibly diverse set of missions, and the 1st Helicopter Squadron is executing one of the most visible jobs in the National Capital Region.

What's been your favorite assignment/TDY and why?

This is my first assignment. So, I haven't been to many places, but Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape training was fun.

What is you dream assignment and why?

I love flying the Huey. I'm planning on sticking with it, wherever that takes me.

What's the coolest thing you've done in the military?

I got to do a flyover of the secretary of defense's POW/MIA Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Pentagon.
