Hometown?

New York, New York

Why do you serve?

I decided to join the military because I was at a crossroad in my life. My two older brothers who joined spoke to me about the opportunities available in the military and how it could make me a better person. The prospect of being self-sufficient, improving myself, and supporting my country are the reasons I joined.

How does your job impact the wing’s mission?

As a member of the 11th Contracting Squadron, my job greatly impacts the wing’s mission. We support Airmen with everything from their basic to mission needs and make sure it is done legally and economically.

What's been your favorite assignment/TDY and why?

My favorite assignment has been here at JBA; it's like no other. Our efforts directly support the president and not many other locations can say that. It makes me proud when I see videos of him and his family at our base knowing my actions may have contributed to portions of the visit going well. The unique mission of this base gives me an extra sense of pride, knowing the world is watching and I helped us be on point.
