Alcohol prevention

By Senior Airman Alyssa D. Van Hook 11 WG/PA

The Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Mental Health/Substance Abuse (ADAPT) clinic held an alcohol awareness event at the Base Exchange parking lot on JBAB, April 17, 2017. The event showcased a driving challenge which required participants to use goggles that simulated varying levels of blood alcohol content while operating a quadra-cycle through a course. The challenge brought attention to the dangers of driving under the influence and highlighted the importance of one’s own mental health. For more information regarding mental health or substance abuse, contact JBAB ADAPT at 202-767-0611.
