By Senior Airman Alyssa D. Van Hook 11th Wing Public Affairs

Joint Base Andrews hosted the 2019 Small Business Summit here, June 13, 2019. The summit's goal was to gather small businesses from around Prince George County for an open forum -- discussing historical and upcoming industry prospects with JBA. The summit provided an opportunity for vendor outreach and networking with contracting officials from JBA's 11th Contracting Squadron and program offices. Col. Andrew M. Purath, 11th Wing Commander at JBA, and Angela Alsobrooks, the Prince George's County Executive, were in attendance at the summit.
