What's your full name, job title and unit? 

Deandre Andrews, Security Forces Protective Service, 811th SFS

What's your hometown city and state (and country, if not U.S.)?

Evansville, Indiana

Why did you decide to serve in the military?

I joined for financial stability

How do you think your job impacts the wing’s mission? 

I think what I do is very important because being security forces is the first line of defense for all Air Force bases world wide. We are the one that protect the assets that dwell or come to just visit. So with that being said not only does positively impact the Wing but it shines a positive light for the whole career field.

What's been your favorite assignment/TDY and why?

My favorite assignment is being stationed her working Protective service because of the importance of my job. My favorite TDY has to be MK19 gunner school.

What is your dream assignment and why?

My dream assignment is to work on a PSD team for one of the distinguished visitors that travel to and from this base. 

What's the coolest thing you’ve done in the military?

Working Protective Service has been the coolest thing just because of the importance of the job.

What hobbies do you have/what do you do in your spare time?

My hobbies are playing basketball and football and being a new YouTuber

Biggest challenge you’ve faced in your life?

The biggest challenge for me has been becoming a father and trying my best to be a positive role model for my daughter.
