What's been your favorite assignment/TDY and why?
My favorite assignment was Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. It has been my career highlight since I was able to work in the Aerial Delivery section. Aerial Delivery provided unilateral airdrop training to 3 flying squadrons on base. I met a lot of great people, and made even better stories I’m able to look back on and laugh about.
What is your dream assignment and why?
My dream assignment is to work at the Special Operations Aerial Delivery Section at Ft Bragg. This is my dream assignment for the fact that I would be rigging parachutes to actual equipment instead of training bundles like I did in the past. Additionally, I would be able to go TDY often. This allows me to see more of the world, and do what I enjoy.
What's the coolest thing you've done in the military?
The coolest thing I have done in the military was rescue an emaciated dog on the drop-zone in Alaska from a bear by chasing the bear away with a snow machine. The dog was our temporary drop-zone team mascot until we were able to locate the owner the next morning.

In my spare time I enjoy fixing up my house and eventually, I would like to be able to rent it out. That way I can move a little closer to base.

The biggest challenge I have faced in my life was becoming a father. Most men make it look easy, but it is hard and rewarding work.
