By Airman 1st Class Bridgitte Taylor 316th Wing Public Affairs

Lt. Col. Corey S. Everage assumed command of the 811th Force Support Squadron from Lt. Col. Kimberly A. Jennings during a change of command ceremony on Joint Base Andrews, Md., July 10.

Col. Nicole K. Scott, 316th Mission Support Group commander, presided over the ceremony to activate the transfer of command from Jennings to Everage.

“For the men and women of the 811th FSS, I am extremely humbled and honored to be your new commander,” said Everage. “I am also excited for the opportunity to build on the tremendous work you all have accomplished over the last two years under Jennings’ leadership.”

Jennings commanded the 811th FSS from 2018 to 2020 and directed the largest execution of colonel and general officer assignments in the Department of Defense, supporting 328 colonels and 84 general officers while securing $42 million to guarantee the strategic posturing of Air Force senior leaders.

“Everage comes to us with an impressive track record, hard work and success,” said Jennings. “I’m convinced he and his family are an amazing addition to the 811th FSS; they will absolutely lead the 811 to great success.”
