Washington Nationals invite NCR service members for stadium workout

Military personnel from around the National Capital Region, including members from the 113th Air Refueling Wing, the 316th Wing, and the 316th Civil Engineer Squadron, came together bright and early to participate in a group workout on Nov. 1, 2021 at Nationals Park, Washington, D.C.This workout was at the invitation of the Washington Nationals and is the first event in a potential annual partnership between the team and the local military community. Volunteers from the team split the participants into nine groups and led them through the stations in intervals. Team members gave out awards like signed baseballs, game tickets, and bobbleheads.
