By Airman 1st Class Matthew-John Braman 316th Wing Public Affairs

Joint Base Andrews celebrated “Earth Week” this year with multiple events across the installation, April 22, 2022.

In recognition of Earth Day and Arbor Day, the Joint Base Andrews community came together for a base recycling function where JBA community members had the opportunity to bring in recyclable items, a cleanup to encourage units to walk around the base and collect garbage, and a tree planting ceremony where leadership planted white oak and red-bud trees near the base dormitories.
