JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. –
Service members and their families came together to celebrate diversity on Unity Day at Joint Base Andrews, Md., July 21, 2022. The annual event included a 5K, educational booths, games, food trucks, and performances by JBA residents.
Col. Todd Randolph, 316th Wing and installation commander, emphasized the importance of honoring Unity Day.
“It is important to not only embrace and acknowledge our differences but to celebrate them as well,” said Randolph. “The diversity within our community is what makes us special and stronger as a country, fighting force and more importantly a family. Remember that together, we are one and that is team Joint Base Andrews.”
