Joint Base Andrews leaders sign Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month proclamation

Joint Base Andrews senior leaders signed a proclamation designating April as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month on March 15.

Col. Todd Randolph, 316th Wing and installation commander, Col. Gregory D. Buchanan, 459th Air Refueling Wing commander, and Lt. Col. Richard N. Derohab, Air Force Office of Special Investigations 7th Field Investigations Squadron commander, took turns signing the proclamation.

The Department of Defense observes SAAP to emphasize the need for individuals at all levels to commit to preventing sexual violence and to bolster prevention, increase reporting, and promote advocacy for a safer DoD Community.
