89 APS Death on Duty

11th Wing Public Affairs

Senior Airman John E. King II died while on duty at Joint Base Andrews Sunday. SrA King was assigned to the 89th Aerial Port Squadron.

"The 89th, and all of Team Andrews are hurting after this tragic loss of life," said Col. Mike Minihan, 89th Airlift Wing Commander, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Airman King's family, friends and coworkers; our Air Force is a family, and they will not go through this alone."

The Military and Family Support Center is available to those in need of support during this time, and can be reached at 301-981-7087. Additionally, the 11th Wing Chaplain's office can be reached at 301-981-2111.
