Finance office on the move at Andrews

By Senior Airman Lindsey A. Porter 11th Wing Public Affairs

In preparation for their upcoming office move, the 11th Wing Comptroller Squadron is slated to close Oct. 22 and 23. The office will reopen under normal business hours at their new location, Suite 2730 in the Jones Building, on Oct. 24.

Currently sharing an office trailer with several base organizations, the comptrollers are looking forward to the added workspace and customer parking that the Jones Building will provide.

"A great deal of the customer-oriented/administrative support offices are located under one roof at the Jones Building," said Master Sgt. Gregory Ramacciotti, 11th Wing Staff Agency first sergeant. "This move will facilitate a one-stop-shop for daily operations to thousands of customers we service in the National Capitol Region."

Furthermore, in order to facilitate the squadron's flawless transition, comptrollers have taken necessary steps to ensure the smooth transition of files, communication devices, and other documentation in order to minimize the interruption of financial services, according to Ramacciotti.

In addition to the Andrews finance office move, Joint Base-Anacostia Bolling's finance office is slated to undergo a similar transmission to the Jones Building at the same time as the

Andrews office. Starting Oct. 25, the Bolling finance office will be closed in preparation for their office relocation and will reopen Oct. 29 at its new location of Suite 2730.

For more information, call the Andrews finance office at 857-6377.
