B-Ball court renovation

By Senior Airman Amber Russell 11th Wing Public Affairs

Many fitness enthusiasts realize a break down comes before building up. The same can be said for the West Fitness Center, which will begin basketball court renovations Oct. 8, slated to last up to eight weeks or longer.

The upcoming project prohibits access to the aerobic room. Classes will be held in the first racquetball court room and the tactical fitness area. For a detailed schedule of times and locations patrons can go to the West Fitness Center Facebook page here, like the page and click on the "about" link.

The modifications to improve the basketball courts also mean access to the weight room, the spin room and the Health and Wellness Center, will be from the outside through the weight room only.

The locker rooms have been newly renovated in effort to make the West Fitness Center more fit for patrons, the locker rooms have been newly renovated as well. After a couple months of breaking down to build up, the women's locker room is now open.

To better accommodate patrons, the newly renovated East Fitness Center hours have extended to 8 p.m. on weekdays, and will be open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Patrons of the WFC can bear in mind; it can take patience and endurance to build up to become better.
