JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. –
As the warm summer temperatures wind down and the winter months approach, the 11th Civil Engineer Squadron will shut down air conditioning systems and bring heating systems on line.
From Oct. 9, through Nov. 15, there will be no heating or air conditioning in several buildings on base in order to ensure all systems are thoroughly inspected and in working order.
Mission critical facilities, Child Development Centers, critical server rooms and switch gears will be exempt.
The 11 CES thanks Team Andrews members for their patience and cooperation while this transition is accomplished.
