Health Consumer's Advisory Council Meeting

Is TRICARE meeting your health care needs and those of your family? Are you able to get a timely appointment? Are you satisfied with the clinical services at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic? If your answer to any of these questions is no, you won't want to miss our next Health Consumer's Advisory Council meeting.

Col. Rudolph Cachuela, 779th Medical Group commander, will host two HCAC meetings on Wed., Oct. 17, 2012, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., in the 4th floor conference room of MGMC, Building 1050.

This forum is open to the entire military community - active duty, retirees and family members.
Come hear about the services and programs at MGMC.

Lt. Col. Lance Rodgers, 779th MDG administrator, will discuss recent developments with the military construction project for the new Ambulatory Care Center and Dental Clinic. He will outline approximate dates when the project will begin as well as what to expect during the next three years of construction.

Lt. Col. Glen Laird, 779th MDG pharmacy flight commander, will explain how to navigate the pharmacy system to obtain prescriptions and refills.

Sheri Pueblo, Health Net education and benefits specialist, will discuss TRICARE Prime with premium increases for retirees and handling of medical records when moving. She will also talk about growth and success with the pharmacy home delivery program.

In addition to providing news and information, the meeting is an opportunity for you to voice any concerns or positive feedback you may have. Your input is the vital link, which will enable us to make continuous improvements to meet your health care needs.
