Team Andrews celebrates Earth Day 2012

Team Andrews members are celebrating Earth Day 2012 with several scheduled events around base.

Wednesday, April 18, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Andrews Base Exchange, an Energy and Recycling Outreach will focus on resource conservation, recycling and energy efficiency.

Thursday, April 19, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Home Traditions parking lot, turn in any household hazardous waste for proper disposal.

Friday, April 20, from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. join volunteers as they clean up the base's lakes and streams. A cookout for volunteers will follow from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Yuma Park.

Friday, April 20, from 9 a.m. - noon at Yuma Park, 3rd and 4th graders from Imagine Andrews Charter School will clean up Yuma Park.
