Warrior of the Week

Name: 1st Lieutenant Shana Drahn-Hoffman

Current Duty Title: 89th Operations Group mission intelligence

Hometown: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Why are you being recognized today?

1st Lieutenant Drahn-Hoffman is recognized as this week's Warrior of the Week for her dedication to Joint Base Andrews through the 11th Wing commander's directive program Culture of Responsible Choices. As the second officer in charge of CoRC, Lt. Drahn-Hoffman helped transform the program by giving it tremendous growth and opportunity in the National Capital Region. Events have increased by 400 percent with an approximate 300 volunteers participating in 2010. Volunteer service in the community has given Joint Base Andrews a positive community presence. These relationships and programs created throughout the local area, on and off-base, have given CoRC a strong foundation to build upon in our future on Joint Base Andrews.
