Current Duty Title: 1st Helicopter Squadron Search and Rescue Missions Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge

Why are they being recognized? Sergeant Bowser manages flight operations for the 11th Wing, the Air Force District of Washington's only operational flying unit.

She was recognized as the "First and Foremost" search and rescue mission NCOIC. She led the overhaul of 11th Wing search and rescue procedures, and scored "Excellent" on several unit self inspections.
