Warrior of the Week



Captain Rachel David, Chaplain for the 11th Wing, provides hospital unit ministry at Malcolm Grow Medical Center for approximately 1600 Airmen, civilians, patients, and staff there. Chaplain David also leads a Joint Base Andrews gospel service and numerous religious education programs on base.

Along with these other responsibilities, Chaplain David finds time to conduct newcomer's briefings, serve on the Traumatic Stress Response team (TSR) and be a family advocate.

Most recently Chaplain David exceeded all expectations for her work in the National Prayer Breakfast. Currently, she is the POC for chapel operations at the Aeromedical Staging Facility.

She was also honored as the winner for the 2010 Military Chaplains Association Chaplain of the Future Award.
