H1N1, seasonal flu immunizations clinic for children available Dec. 19

By Senior Master Sgt. Michael J. Land 316th Wing Public Affairs

Malcom Grow Medical Center officials here will offer a walk-in H1N1 and seasonal flu immunization clinic between 9 a.m. and noon Dec. 19 in Bldg. 1063, located in the center's campus.

Officials said they are making the weekend clinic available to help parents whose schedules, or those of their children, prevent them bringing the children in during regular clinic hours: Monday through Thursday, 8-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:30 p.m.; and Friday, 9-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:30 p.m. Vaccinations continue to be available during these times.

MGMC officials said they are awaiting a large supply of H1N1 vaccine from the Defense Department, after which they will begin a mass active duty vaccination.
