August is National Immunization Awareness Month

By The Military Vaccine Agency

The Military Vaccine Agency is planning to have information on display Wednesday at the Commissary from 8 a.m.-Noon and and at the BX from Noon to
4 p.m.

MILVAX would like your help in raising awareness about immunizations. This is the perfect month to remind family, friends, co-workers, and those in the community the importance of vaccine protection. MILVAX, along with the Vaccine Health Centers Network and your local immunization clinics are joining forces in educating all DoD beneficiaries, civilians and contractors on the benefits of being current in their vaccinations and the importance of vaccinations in their overall health care. MILVAX, VHC and local immunization clinics can also provide helpful information to parents enrolling their children in school, students entering college, and healthcare workers preparing for the upcoming flu season.
