316 WG Annual Awards Banquet approaches

The 316th Wing Annual Awards Banquet is scheduled for March 14 at The Club at Andrews. 

"The annual awards banquet is the pinnacle of the wing's recognition program," said Col. Paul R. Ackerley, 316 WG commander. "The banquet is our way to show appreciation to the Airmen, NCOs, Senior NCOs, company grade officers and civilians who have made it a point to stand out among their peers throughout the year at Andrews." 

The wing's command chief master sergeant, Chief Master Sgt. Leroy E. Frink manages the wing's recognition program and understands its significance. 

"I realize the program's value in enhancing the morale of an organization." said Chief Frink. "Our program is designed to recognize our outstanding performers and while many perform above the standard, the annual award nominees are the best of the best. 

Attendance is open to all. The attire for the event is semi-formal or mess dress for servicemembers and business attire for civilians. The evening's event will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m. Cost for the evening is $25. Tickets will be available from first sergeants.
