Green Knights Motorcycle Club rides for safety

The Green Knights Motorcycle Club Chapter 20 was founded on Andrews in 2006 to promote safety, mentorship and camaraderie of motorcyclists throughout the National Capital Region. The motorcycle club has members that are Active Duty, Retired, Guard, and Reserve from Andrews, Bolling AFB, the Pentagon and Fort Belvoir. 

Since its inception, the club has continued to grow and recently elected new officers for the 2008 riding season. The officers elected are Tech. Sgt. Melissa McMillen, President; Mr. Christopher Parks, Vice President; Tech. Sgt. Brian McLeod, Treasurer; 1st Lt. Beth Bostick, Secretary; Master Sgt. Verdis Jones, Ride Director; Mr. Eric Parker, Sergeant at Arms. 

The club has participated in many events this year including Safety Day, Joint Service Open House, Motorcycle Awareness Day, Big Tigger's Ride for a Cure, Veterans of Foreign Wars Charity Poker Run, and rides to Ocean City, Skyline Drive, Solomon's Island, and the unveiling of the Orange County Choppers' Patriot Express Chopper for the Army National Guard. 

The club is open to all Department of Defense personnel and dependants. All styles of motorcycles are welcome to include sport bikes, sport touring bikes and cruisers.
