Members with the 316th Civil Engineer Squadron known as 'Dirt Boys,' performed flight line construction work at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, Aug. 8, 2023. The CES team began their extensive project by clearing rainwater from the previous day at the construction site and completed the project with a concrete pour. Throughout the year, 316 CES is responsible for planning, constructing, and repairing airfield pavements, roads, streets, curbs, surface mats, membranes, and other improved areas using paving and surfacing procedures.
