Military Housing Office celebrates new location with ribbon-cutting ceremony

By Airman 1st Class Gianluca Ciccopiedi | 316th Wing Public Affairs

The Military Housing Office celebrated the grand opening of its new location at 1604 California Ave. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, June 21.

The event represents the MHO’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of life for service members and their families with a new, dedicated space.

“This is a huge milestone for us,” said Stephanie Frizzo, 316th Civil Engineer Squadron deputy commander. “We used to be partnered inside Liberty Park’s facility and needed our own rebranded identity.”

The new location aims to distinguish Liberty Park at Andrews and the MHO as different entities offering separate services. Liberty Park at Andrews is the installation’s privatized housing partner, whereas the MHO assists service members and their families with housing-related matters. Despite the move, a MHO staff member will still be available at Liberty Park’s facility.

The MHO supports military personnel and their families by processing on-base housing applications, providing information on local off-base housing options, and offering guidance on housing benefits and entitlements.

Community members are encouraged to visit the new location during regular business hours or contact the MHO at 316.CES.HOUSING.MANAGEMENT.OFFICE@US.AF.MIL for more information on available services.
