Joint Base Andrews conducts street cordon rehearsal for 60th Presidential Inauguration

U.S. Airmen assigned to the Joint Task Force-National Capital Region participate during a street cordon rehearsal at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Jan. 16, 2025. The rehearsal included participation from the 316th Wing, 844th Communications Group, and members with the 11th Wing, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, D.C., to practice and validate plans for the 60th Presidential Inauguration. Historically, up to 5,000 military personnel have provided ceremonial support during the inaugural period, which is defined as the five days before and four days after the presidential inauguration.
