JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. –

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission scheduled a full rehabilitation for the water tower on North Perimeter Road in Suitland, Maryland, an area fixture recognized for displaying service branch signage.

While last repainted in 2012, the tower’s current rehabilitation plans include new paint and upgrades to the piping and electrical systems.

To ensure mission continuity, the installation scheduled the deployment of 400-gallon potable water trailers to provide immediate access for personnel in the event of a temporary service interruption.
