JBA Command Cyber Readiness Inspection

By Senior Airman Joshua R. M. Dewberry 11th Wing Public Affairs

Team Andrews is conducting a readiness inspection the week of July 13th - 17th.

During the inspection, inspectors will be walking around to see if computers have been updated, if common access cards cards are left unattended, that everyone knows who their information system security officer and security managers are, media is properly labeled and personally identifiable information is protected.

To ensure inspections run smoothly, the following reminders are recommended:

-Secure your common access card (CAC) and secure internet protocol router (SIPR) token

-Clean and organize your workspace

-Appropriately label all media

-Don't open email or attachments from an unknown source

-Know the name of your squadron ISSO and security manager

-Protect PII data by encrypting e-mail and files
